We are a boating club who enjoys the comradery of the fellowship of boaters. As a group of sailors, power boaters, and paddlers, we enjoy sailing and social activities year round. Described here are some of the activities that take place in Colorado and distant waters.
Each year our members enjoy sailing events in and around Colorado. For many years there has been a Grandby rendezvous at Lake Granby group camping with a cajun boil that is one of the highlight of the summer. Recently a Cape Dory Typhoon has been available for use by certified members. Other weekend or day trips may include sailing or paddling on Lake Dillon, Carter Lake, Union reservoir, among others.
Virgin Islands
Opportunities for buddy boating and group chartering come up each year. Recent trips have included sailing to Catalina Island, The Great Lakes, Maine, Nova Scotia, Virgin Islands, and the Windward Islands. Charters are usually skippered by an experienced member. Buddy Boating trips may be a member traveling to a location and inviting other members to join in for some or all of the event. Also, many crewing opportunities come up to fill a spot on a members boat.
Members, guests, and visitors are welcome to attend regular meetings which are generally held on the fourth Thursday of each month, except during the summer boating months. The current meeting place is in Boulder, Colorado - be sure to check our calendar for date and location.

Some popular classes include; Sailing, Seamanship, Piloting, Weather, among others. Boulder Valley has the distinct privilege to offer a specialized Boating First Aid class developed by our own members.
